    Getting There

    BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

    From most parts of Oakland, head to the nearest BART station. If you're near downtown, you can go to the 12th Street Oakland City Center BART station. Purchase a ticket to the Embarcadero station in San Francisco. Once on the train, it will take approximately 15 minutes to reach Embarcadero. The bus will take you across the Bay Bridge and drop you off at the Transbay Terminal in San Francisco. From the terminal, walk north along Mission Street, turn left onto Howard Street, and then head towards Montgomery Street. Jackson Square is just a short walk from there.
