Public Transit
From downtown Oakland, walk to the 12th Street/Oakland City Center BART station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the Mission Bay station. After exiting, head east on Berry Street, then turn left onto 16th Street. Continue walking until you reach Pennsylvania Avenue in Potrero Hill, San Francisco.
Bus
At the nearest bus stop in Oakland, catch the AC Transit Bus Line 40 towards San Francisco (Mission Street). Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the stop at 16th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. Walk a short distance east to reach Pennsylvania Avenue.
Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Oakland. Head to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge bike path. Follow the path across the bridge, which offers beautiful views. Upon reaching San Francisco, take the exit towards Potrero Hill and navigate to Pennsylvania Avenue.
Walking
If you prefer walking and are in a nearby area like Jack London Square, start by heading northeast on Broadway. Walk toward the Oakland ferry terminal and take the ferry to San Francisco. Upon arrival at the ferry building, walk towards the Embarcadero and catch a bus or tram to Mission Bay. From there, walk to Pennsylvania Avenue.
