    BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the Berkeley station. Once you exit the station, walk north on Shattuck Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach University Avenue. Turn right on University Avenue and continue for another 0.5 miles until you reach Sather Tower, located on the UC Berkeley campus.

    AC Transit Bus

    Find the nearest AC Transit bus stop. If you are near downtown Oakland, take the Line 72 bus towards Berkeley. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the stop at Telegraph Avenue and Bancroft Way. From there, walk northwest on Bancroft Way for about 0.4 miles until you reach the entrance of the UC Berkeley campus. Continue walking towards the center of the campus, where you will find Sather Tower.
