If you are starting from the Palo Alto downtown area, head south on University Avenue towards the train station. At the intersection with El Camino Real, turn left and follow El Camino Real south. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Oregon Expressway. Continue on Oregon Expressway until you reach the intersection with Arboretum Road. Turn left onto Arboretum Road, and you will find the Angel of Grief monument located at the end of the road in the Stanford University Arboretum.

From the Palo Alto Transit Center, take the Caltrain to the California Avenue Station. Upon exiting the station, walk east on California Avenue. Turn right onto El Camino Real and continue south. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Oregon Expressway. Walk along Oregon Expressway until you reach Arboretum Road. Turn left on Arboretum Road, and the Angel of Grief will be at the end of the road.

Start from downtown Palo Alto and head south on the designated bike lanes along University Avenue until you reach El Camino Real. Turn left and follow El Camino Real south. After approximately 0.5 miles, turn right onto Oregon Expressway. Continue biking on Oregon Expressway until you reach Arboretum Road, then turn left. The Angel of Grief will be located at the end of Arboretum Road in the Stanford University Arboretum.
