Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from downtown Palo Alto, make your way to University Avenue. Head west on University Avenue until you reach the intersection with El Camino Real. Turn left onto El Camino Real and walk south for about 0.5 miles. Once you reach the Stanford University campus entrance, continue straight onto Palm Drive. Continue on Palm Drive for about 1 mile until you reach the Stanford Mausoleum, which is located on the right side of the road, just past the Stanford Memorial Church.

    From downtown Palo Alto, take the Caltrain to the Stanford stop. After arriving at the Stanford stop, exit the station and head east towards El Camino Real. Catch the Stanford Marguerite Shuttle from the Stanford stop, which is free for visitors. Take the shuttle towards the Main Quad, and get off at the stop near the Stanford Mausoleum. Follow the signs to the mausoleum, which is a short walk from the shuttle stop.

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Palo Alto.
