Walking
From Pasadena City Hall, walk north on Garfield Avenue, then turn left onto Colorado Boulevard. Continue west for several blocks. Old Pasadena's main attractions begin around Fair Oaks Avenue. This is a free and straightforward approach.
Public Transport
From Los Angeles, take the Metro A Line (formerly Gold Line) to Memorial Park Station in Pasadena. From the station, walk south on Holly Street, then turn right onto Fair Oaks Avenue. Walk south for one block to reach Colorado Boulevard and the heart of Old Pasadena. The one-way fare on the Metro A Line is $2.
Driving
From the 210 Freeway, exit on Fair Oaks Avenue and head south. Follow the signs for Old Pasadena. Parking is available in numerous public and private garages and lots. The 'Park & Walk' garages offer the first 2 hours for $1, then $2 per hour, with a $12 daily maximum. Metered street parking is also available for around $1.25 per hour.
