    Getting There

    Walking

    From the Playhouse District, walk southeast on E Colorado Blvd toward S Oak Knoll Ave. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto S Orange Grove Blvd. The Wrigley Mansion will be on your right at 391 S Orange Grove Blvd. The walk is approximately 10-15 minutes.

    Public Transport

    From a Metro bus stop in Playhouse District, take Metro Bus Line 180 or 256 heading south. Get off at the stop for S Orange Grove Blvd & E Del Mar Blvd. From there, walk 5 minutes north to Wrigley Mansion. The bus fare is $1.75 for a one-way trip.

    Taxi/Ride-Share

    From anywhere in Pasadena, a taxi or ride-share (Uber/Lyft) to Wrigley Mansion is a convenient option. The ride typically costs between $8-$15 from Old Pasadena, depending on traffic and demand.

    Driving

    When driving, note that there is limited handicap parking available in the lot accessed via the driveway at Orange Grove Blvd or Arbor Street. Non-handicap parking is available on surrounding streets, but observe posted signs and restrictions. Street parking can be found on Arbor Street, Grand Avenue, and Lockhaven Street. Lockhaven Street has a two-hour limit. There is no parking permitted on Orange Grove Blvd.

Originally built in 1906 for the Stimson family, the Italian Renaissance-style mansion was purchased in 1914 by William Wrigley Jr., the chewing gum magnate. He and his wife, Ada, transformed the estate into a lavish winter retreat. Ada Wrigley especially loved the home for its location along the Rose Parade route. In 1958, after Ada's death, the Wrigley family gifted the mansion to the City of Pasadena, stipulating that it become the headquarters for the Tournament of Roses Association. Today, the Tournament House hosts visitors for tours and serves as the backdrop for many Tournament of Roses activities. Visitors can explore the beautifully preserved rooms, including the Wrigley Lounge, which still features the original rug. The mansion also boasts the Wrigley Gardens, which span 4.5 acres and feature over 1,500 varieties of roses, camellias, and seasonal blooms.
