Getting There

  • Walking

    From Downtown Santa Monica, walk west on Colorado Avenue towards the ocean. Cross Ocean Avenue and continue onto the Santa Monica Pier. Pacific Park will be on your left. The walk is approximately 10 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Metro E Line to the Downtown Santa Monica Station. From there, walk west on Colorado Avenue, cross Ocean Avenue, and walk onto the Santa Monica Pier. Pacific Park will be on your left. A regular Metro fare is $1.75 and includes two hours of free transfers.

  • Rideshare

    Use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft and set your destination to 1550 Appian Way to be dropped off near the beach. From there, take the stairs or ramps onto the Pier. This avoids congestion on Ocean Avenue. A typical rideshare from LAX to the pier costs around $30.

  • Driving

    From I-10 West, exit onto 4th/5th Streets and stay in the right lane to turn onto 4th Street. Make a left onto Colorado Boulevard and drive straight until you reach Ocean Avenue. Turn left onto Ocean Avenue. The ramp to the pier will be on your right. Parking on the pier costs between $7 and $18 per day. Alternatively, park at the Civic Center Garage at 333 Civic Center Drive for cheaper weekend rates.
