Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Pismo Beach, start at the Pismo Beach Pier. Head north on Pismo Beach Dr towards the intersection with Price St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Shell Beach Rd. Turn left onto Shell Beach Rd and follow it as it curves along the coast. You will eventually see Beachcomber Dr on your right. Turn onto Beachcomber Dr and walk until you reach South Palisades Park, which will be on your left. The park offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.

  For those renting bikes in Pismo Beach, start at the Pismo Beach Pier. Take the bike path heading north along the coastline. Continue past the beach until you reach the intersection of Shell Beach Rd. Turn left onto Shell Beach Rd and follow the road until you spot Beachcomber Dr on your right. Turn onto Beachcomber Dr and bike until you arrive at South Palisades Park on your left, where you can enjoy scenic views and a relaxing atmosphere.

  If you are considering public transport options, check the local bus schedule for routes that service Pismo Beach. From the bus stop closest to the pier, you can take a route that heads toward Shell Beach. Once you get off at the nearest stop to Shell Beach Rd, walk towards Beachcomber Dr. Follow Beachcomber Dr until you reach South Palisades Park on your left. Keep an eye out for local signage to ensure you are heading in the right direction.
