Walking
From the intersection of Shell Beach Road and Beachcomber Drive, head south on Beachcomber Drive. The park will be on your left in approximately 0.2 miles. The staircase to the beach is centrally located on the Beachcomber Drive loop. There is no cost for accessing the park or beach.

Public Transport
From the Pismo Beach transit center, walk southwest on Pomeroy Ave toward the beach. Turn left onto Beachcomber Dr and continue until you reach the park. The park is about a 20-minute walk from the transit center. SLO Regional Transit provides bus service to Shell Beach. Check local schedules for routes and times. A single fare is typically around $2.

From Highway 101, take exit 190B for California 1 South toward Pismo Beach/Santa Maria. Merge onto CA-1 S and continue for about 2 miles. Turn right onto Beachcomber Dr. South Palisades Park will be on your left. Free parking is available on Beachcomber Dr, but spaces are limited. Street parking is also available.
