Public Transit - Bus
From downtown Redding, walk to the Redding Transit Center located at 1313 Yuba St. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards Shasta Lake. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop near Shasta Lake City Hall. From there, walk north on Shasta Dam Blvd for about 0.6 miles until you reach Median Ave. Turn left onto Median Ave and continue for about 0.2 miles. The Boomtown Museum will be on your right at 1525 Median Ave.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Redding. Start your journey from the downtown area. Head north on Market St, which becomes Shasta Dam Blvd. Continue straight for approximately 5 miles. Turn left onto Median Ave and ride for another half mile. The Boomtown Museum will be on your right at 1525 Median Ave.
Walking
If you are close to Shasta Lake, you can walk directly to Boomtown Museum. From the nearest public park, head north on Shasta Dam Blvd. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Median Ave. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles, and you will find the museum on your right at 1525 Median Ave.
