From the Old Sacramento Waterfront district, Waterfront Park is easily accessible on foot. Follow the Sacramento River Bike Trail north along the riverfront. The park is located near the I Street Bridge, a short walk from most attractions in Old Sacramento.
Public Transport
Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) offers bus and light rail services to Old Sacramento. Several bus routes stop near the waterfront. From the Sacramento Valley Station, walk towards Old Sacramento and follow signs to the riverfront and the park. A single ride on SacRT costs $2.50.
Driving
From I-5, take the Old Sacramento exit. Follow signs to parking in the Old Sacramento area. Several parking garages and lots are available, including the Old Sacramento Garage on I Street and the Tower Bridge Garage on Capitol Boulevard. Metered street parking is also available. Parking rates vary, with garage parking costing around $15 for weekend pre-pay.
