    From the Sacramento Amtrak station, transfer to the Sacramento Regional Transit Light Rail and take the Gold Line to the Archives Plaza stop at 10th and O Streets. From there, it is a short walk to the Sacramento History Museum in Old Sacramento. A single ride on the Light Rail costs approximately $2.50.

    If driving, parking is available in the Old Sacramento Parking Garage on 2nd and I Street, which is the closest to the Sacramento History Museum. Metered street parking is also available throughout Old Sacramento. Metered parking is available for two-hour slots from 10 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. Parking rates vary, but expect to pay around $1.75 per hour.
