Getting There

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Old Sacramento. Once you have your bike, head towards the riverfront and then make your way to I Street. Follow I Street directly to the museum at 101 I St. The ride is about 0.3 miles and should take around 5 minutes. Remember to wear a helmet and follow local biking rules.

• Public Transit (Light Rail)

  For those who prefer public transport, you can take the Sacramento Regional Transit light rail. The nearest station is the 'Old Sacramento' station. Board the light rail towards the 'Folsom' line and disembark at the 'Sacramento Valley Station' stop. From there, it's a short 0.5-mile walk to the museum. Exit the station, head west on I Street for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at 101 I St where the museum is located. Be aware that a single ride ticket costs approximately $2.75.
