Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of North Beach, head east on Columbus Avenue towards the waterfront. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Beach Street. Turn left onto Beach Street, and walk a short distance until you reach the entrance to PIER 39 on your right. This walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

    If you prefer not to walk, you can take the Muni Bus. From North Beach, locate the nearest bus stop on Columbus Avenue. Board the #30 or #47 bus heading towards Fisherman’s Wharf. The fare for a single ride is $3.00, and you can pay using cash or a Clipper card. Get off at the Fisherman’s Wharf stop, then walk toward the waterfront. PIER 39 will be a short walk away along the Embarcadero, about 5-7 minutes.
