Bus
From downtown San Leandro, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the AC Transit Line 43 heading towards San Francisco. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the stop at 14th St & Broadway in Oakland. Transfer to the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) at the 12th St. Oakland City Center station. Take the BART heading towards Richmond. After about 20 minutes, get off at the El Cerrito del Norte station. From there, switch to the AC Transit Line 72 or 72M towards Mill Valley. Get off at the stop at 242 Redwood Hwy, Mill Valley.
Bicycle
Starting from downtown San Leandro, rent a bicycle from a local bike-sharing service. Head north on Estudillo Ave, then turn left onto Washington Ave. Follow Washington Ave until you reach the San Francisco Bay Trail, which will lead you through scenic views and parks. Continue along the trail until you find the route towards Mill Valley. Follow the signs directing you to Redwood Hwy, and you will arrive at 242 Redwood Hwy, Mill Valley after about an hour of cycling.
Walking
If you're close to the San Leandro BART station, start by walking to the station entrance and take the BART train towards San Francisco. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 12th St. Oakland City Center stop. From there, transfer to a bus or continue walking to the nearest bus stop to catch a bus heading towards Mill Valley. If you choose to walk, you may need to walk up to 1.5 miles to reach the nearest bus stop, so be prepared for a longer journey. Once you reach Mill Valley, follow the signs to 242 Redwood Hwy.
