    From downtown San Francisco, the 22 Fillmore bus provides direct service to Marina Green. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes, and costs $3. Get off at the Fillmore St & Bay St stop, which is a short walk from the park. Alternatively, take the F-Market streetcar to the waterfront area, followed by a short walk to Marina Green. A day pass for unlimited rides on Muni buses, trains, and historic streetcars is available for $5.70 via the MuniMobile app.

  • Taxi/Ride-Share

    Taxis and ride-sharing services offer a convenient way to reach Marina Green from anywhere in San Francisco. A taxi ride from downtown San Francisco typically costs $15-$20 and takes around 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxi fares include a $4.15 flag rate for the first 1/5th of a mile, plus $0.65 for each additional 1/5th of a mile and $0.65 per minute of waiting time. Note that fares can be 150% of the metered rate for trips exceeding 15 miles outside the city limits.

    If you're already in the Marina District or nearby areas like Fort Mason or the Presidio, walking to Marina Green is a pleasant option. From Fort Mason, head west along the waterfront. From the Presidio, follow the San Francisco Bay Trail east. The walk offers scenic views of the bay and surrounding landmarks. Be aware that the promenade on the north side of the Green has no guard railings on the water side.

    If driving, enter Marina Green from Marina Blvd. at Scott St. or the gate between Fillmore St. and Webster St. Ample parking is available along the bay side, except in spaces marked as permit parking only. Parking is free between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm. However, parking can be limited, especially on weekends. The closest parking is located at 351 Marina Boulevard. From the Golden Gate Bridge (Highway 101) from Marin County, take exit 437 for Marina Boulevard. From the East Bay, take Interstate 80 into San Francisco, exiting onto Fremont Street.
