Getting There

    From San Mateo, head to the San Mateo Transit Center located at 200 W 2nd Ave. Take the SamTrans bus route 292 towards San Francisco. Ride for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Civic Center' stop in San Francisco. From there, transfer to the Muni bus route 7 or 33, which will take you directly to Haight-Ashbury. The total journey will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive, follow the signs to Haight Street, where you can explore the vibrant neighborhood.

    Walk to the San Mateo Caltrain station located at 555 S B St. Board a northbound Caltrain towards San Francisco. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Disembark at the '22nd St.' station. From there, transfer to the Muni bus route 43 towards 'Bayview/Hunters Point.' Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at 'Haight St & Ashbury St.' You will be in the heart of Haight-Ashbury, ready to explore!
