Getting There

    From downtown Santa Barbara, take US-101 N and exit at Las Positas Rd. Turn left onto Las Positas Rd, which becomes Foothill Rd. After approximately 2 miles, turn right onto Sycamore Canyon Rd, which leads to Tunnel Rd. Follow Tunnel Rd to the trailhead. Parking is limited along Tunnel Road. Expect limited availability and arrive early. There are no parking fees.

    From downtown Santa Barbara, take MTD bus #5 towards the Eastside. Get off at the Las Positas Rd & Foothill Rd stop. From there, you can walk approximately 1.5 miles to the trailhead. Head north on Las Positas Rd, then turn right onto Foothill Rd. Follow it until you reach Sycamore Canyon Rd, then proceed to Tunnel Rd and the trailhead. A single bus fare is $1.75.

    From the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, head north on Mission Canyon Road. Turn right onto Tunnel Road and continue to the Inspiration Point Trailhead. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles with a slight incline. Ensure you are prepared for a steady uphill walk.
