Getting There

Car

If you are traveling by car from downtown Santa Barbara, head east on State Street (US-101) for approximately 1.5 miles. Merge onto the US-101 North freeway and continue for about 3 miles. Take exit 96 for Carrillo Street and continue straight onto Carrillo Street. After about 1 mile, turn left onto Shoreline Drive. Continue on Shoreline Drive until you reach Shoreline Park at the intersection of Shoreline Drive and Santa Rosa Place. There is parking available along the street and in nearby lots.
Public Transportation

To reach Shoreline Park via public transportation, you can take the MTD bus line 1 or 2. If you are in downtown Santa Barbara, catch the bus at the Santa Barbara Transit Center. Board line 1 heading towards the Eastside or line 2 towards the Mesa. Both lines will take you along State Street and eventually to Shoreline Drive. Get off at the Santa Rosa Place stop. From there, walk a short distance to the intersection of Shoreline Drive and Santa Rosa Place to find Shoreline Park.
Bike

If you prefer biking, Santa Barbara has a bike-friendly environment. You can start at the Santa Barbara waterfront and take the bike path along Cabrillo Boulevard. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with Shoreline Drive. Turn left onto Shoreline Drive, and you will soon arrive at Shoreline Park at the junction with Santa Rosa Place.
