Hiking
From the Giant Forest area, start your hike towards the Beetle Rock Trail. Follow the signs directing you towards the General's Highway. Once you reach the General's Highway, head south along the trail. The hike will take you through beautiful scenery, including towering sequoias. After about 1.5 miles, look for signs indicating the Beetle Rock Trailhead on your right. The trailhead is marked and will lead you directly to Beetle Rock.

Shuttle
If you are near the Lodgepole Visitor Center, you can take the park shuttle, which operates seasonally. Board the shuttle heading towards the General's Highway. Request to be dropped off at the stop for Beetle Rock Trail. Once you disembark, follow the short path leading directly to the trailhead, which is well-marked.
