If you are in the Giant Forest area of Sequoia National Park, start at the Giant Forest Museum. From the museum, take the Crescent Meadow Road. Follow the road for about 1.5 miles. You will see signs indicating the direction to Tunnel Log. Continue walking straight until you reach the Tunnel Log parking area. The log is a short walk from the parking area, where you can enjoy the iconic sight of the fallen tree.

If you are at the Crescent Meadow, you can take a hike to the Tunnel Log. Begin at the Crescent Meadow Trailhead. Follow the trail into the beautiful meadow, and continue along the path that leads to the Tunnel Log. This route is approximately 0.5 miles and is an easy hike, perfect for families. You will encounter stunning views of giant sequoias along the way.

If you are at Lodgepole Visitor Center, use the park's shuttle service (check the seasonal schedule) to reach the Giant Forest area. Once you arrive at the Giant Forest stop, head towards the Giant Forest Museum and follow the Crescent Meadow Road as described previously.
