Getting There

Hiking
If you are at Lodgepole Visitor Center, start your hike on the Tokopah Falls Trail. Follow the trail for approximately 3.5 miles (round trip) until you reach Tokopah Falls. From there, return to the Lodgepole area and head towards the Generals Highway. You will need to walk along Generals Highway for about 1.5 miles until you reach the Foothills Visitor Center.

If you are near the Giant Forest, take the Congress Trail which leads to the General Sherman Tree. From there, make your way back to the main road and head south along the Generals Highway. Continue walking for about 6 miles until you reach Foothills Visitor Center. Be sure to take breaks as this is a longer hike.

From the Crescent Meadow area, start your hike along the Crescent Meadow Trail. After approximately 2 miles, connect to the Generals Highway heading south. Continue walking for about 4 miles, and you will arrive at the Foothills Visitor Center.
