From Tahoe City, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Tahoe City Transit Center located at 700 N Lake Blvd, Tahoe City, CA 96145. Board the Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) bus heading towards Incline Village. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as it may vary. Stay on the bus until you reach the Sand Harbor stop, which is located near the entrance of Sand Harbor State Park. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you disembark, follow the signs to the entrance of Sand Harbor.

From Tahoe City, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start by heading south on N Lake Blvd (CA-28) from Tahoe City. Follow the bike lane along the lake. Continue straight for about 7 miles, enjoying the scenic views of Lake Tahoe. You will reach Sand Harbor on your right. There are bike racks available near the entrance for you to secure your bicycle.
