Car
If you're traveling by car, start by heading north or south on NV-28 (Lake Tahoe Scenic Byway). If you're coming from the south (South Lake Tahoe), take US-50 East to NV-28 North. If coming from the north (Incline Village), simply follow NV-28 South. Look for the signs directing you to Sand Harbor State Park, located at 2005 NV-28, Incline Village, NV 89452. There is a parking fee of $10 per vehicle, and be aware that the parking lot can fill up quickly during peak season.

Public Transportation
To reach Sand Harbor using public transportation, you can take the Tahoe Transportation District's (TTD) Route 21 bus, which connects various areas around Lake Tahoe. Board the bus at any of the designated stops in South Lake Tahoe or Stateline. You will need to transfer at the nearest bus stop to Sand Harbor, which is at the Highway 28 & Sand Harbor stop. From there, it is about a half-mile walk to the entrance of the park. A one-way bus fare is approximately $2.00.
