    From Venice Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop on Pacific Ave & Windward Ave. Take the Metro Bus Line 33 towards 'LAX City Bus Center'. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Hawthorne Blvd & 190th St'. From there, transfer to the Metro Bus Line 226 towards 'Palos Verdes Estates'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at 'Crenshaw Blvd & Silver Spur Rd'. The South Coast Botanic Garden is a short 10-minute walk from here. Head south on Crenshaw Blvd, and you will see the entrance to the garden on your right at 26300 Crenshaw Blvd.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the rental stations in Venice Beach. Start by heading south on Pacific Ave until you reach Washington Blvd. Turn left onto Washington Blvd and continue straight until you hit the Pacific Coast Highway. Take a right turn and continue biking for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Crenshaw Blvd. Turn left onto Crenshaw Blvd and bike for another mile to reach the South Coast Botanic Garden at 26300 Crenshaw Blvd.

    If you enjoy walking and are up for a long stroll, begin at Venice Beach and walk east along the Venice Boardwalk towards the Venice Canals. Continue along the canals until you reach Pacific Ave, then head south through the residential streets. After walking for about 2 miles, you will reach S Sepulveda Blvd. Turn right and continue walking for about a mile until you reach Crenshaw Blvd. Finally, turn left and walk for about 0.5 miles to find the South Coast Botanic Garden at 26300 Crenshaw Blvd.
