Car
If you are driving, start by entering Yosemite National Park through the Arch Rock Entrance, which is located on Highway 140. Follow the signs to Yosemite Valley. From Yosemite Village, take the road toward Mirror Lake and continue on the road until you reach the parking area for the Happy Isles trailhead. The drive typically takes about 30 minutes from the entrance.

From the Happy Isles trailhead parking area, you will need to hike the Mist Trail or the John Muir Trail to reach the Sub Dome.
