Getting There

From Yosemite Village, take the road toward Mirror Lake and continue on the road until you reach the parking area for the Happy Isles trailhead. After about 2 miles, you will reach the junction for Half Dome. Follow the signs towards Half Dome. The total hike to Sub Dome can take approximately 4-6 hours one way.
