Car
If you are driving from Yosemite Valley, start by heading east on Southside Drive. Follow this road for about 30 minutes (approximately 16 miles) until you reach the Glacier Point Road junction. Turn left onto Glacier Point Road. Continue on this scenic road for about 16 miles until you reach the Glacier Point parking area. Note that there is a parking fee of $35 for a vehicle, which is valid for 7 days in the park. Be aware that Glacier Point Road is typically open from late May through October, depending on snow conditions.

During the summer months, Yosemite offers a shuttle service from Yosemite Valley to Glacier Point. You can catch the Glacier Point Tour bus at the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center. The tour typically runs from late May to mid-September. The one-way fare is about $25 per adult and $12 per child (ages 3-12).
