Walking
From Yosemite Village, walk approximately 0.5 miles west along the paved bicycle path to the Lower Yosemite Fall Trailhead. The falls are visible from much of the valley, making them easy to locate. Follow signs for the trailhead. No costs are associated with this approach.

Public Transport
Take the free Yosemite Valley Shuttle to Shuttle Stop #6, located between Yosemite Village and Yosemite Valley Lodge. From the shuttle stop, follow the paved path a short distance to the Lower Yosemite Fall Trailhead. The shuttle operates from 7 am to 10 pm, with buses arriving every 12 to 22 minutes. There is no cost to ride the shuttle.

Driving
Parking is not available directly at the trailhead. Park at Yosemite Village or the Yosemite Falls parking areas. From the parking areas, walk or take the free Yosemite Valley Shuttle to Shuttle Stop #6. Parking can be challenging, especially during peak season. Yosemite National Park has a $35 entrance fee per vehicle, valid for seven days. A Yosemite Annual Pass costs $70. During certain peak hours, a reservation may be required to enter the park, in addition to the entrance fee.
