If you're driving within Yosemite National Park, head towards Yosemite Valley. From the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center, take Southside Drive and follow signs for Yosemite Falls. There is a parking area at Yosemite Falls, but it can fill up quickly, especially during peak season. Arrive early in the morning or consider using the shuttle service to avoid parking issues.

During the peak season (approximately May to September), the free Yosemite Valley Shuttle Bus operates throughout the valley. Catch the shuttle at any designated stop. To get to Upper Yosemite Fall, board the shuttle and ride to the 'Yosemite Falls' stop. The shuttle is an excellent way to avoid parking hassles and enjoy the scenery without the stress of driving.

Hiking
From the Yosemite Falls parking area, begin your hike on the Yosemite Falls Trail. The trailhead is well-marked and starts at the base of Lower Yosemite Fall. The hike to Upper Yosemite Fall is strenuous, approximately 3.5 miles one way, with an elevation gain of about 1,000 feet. Allow 2-3 hours to reach the top, and be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks.
