From the center of Kep, head south on the main road towards the coast. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Kampot. Turn left onto this road and follow it for approximately 10 kilometers. You'll pass through lush countryside and small villages along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Krong Kampot. Once you reach the town of Kampot, follow the signs towards the Lok Yeay Mao Monument, which is located in the northern part of the town near the river.

Once you reach the intersection with the road to Kampot, turn left and continue cycling for about 10 kilometers.
