If you are starting from the Royal Palace, head northeast on Samdech Sothearos Boulevard (Street 3). Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Street 51. Turn left onto Street 51 and continue walking for another 500 meters. Central Market will be on your right, just before the intersection with Street 274.

From Wat Phnom, walk south on Street 98 towards the river. Continue on Street 98 until it becomes Street 1. Turn left onto Street 1 and walk for about 1 kilometer, passing by the National Museum. When you reach the intersection with Street 51, turn right. Central Market will be on your right after a short walk.

If you're near the Independence Monument, you can easily catch a tuk-tuk. Tell the driver to take you to Central Market, located at E273 & E274, 51 Street 51. The ride should take around 10 minutes, depending on traffic, and the fare should be around $2 to $3.
