Travel Guide to Royal Palace Park

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Phnom Penh, you can easily walk to Royal Palace Park. Start from Wat Phnom, which is a well-known landmark. Head south on Street 92 until you reach the intersection with Street 3. Turn right onto Street 3 and continue walking until you reach Samdach Sothearos Blvd. Turn left onto Samdach Sothearos Blvd and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You'll see the entrance to Royal Palace Park on your left.

• Tuk-Tuk

  Tuk-tuks are a popular and convenient way to get around Phnom Penh. From your location, simply find a tuk-tuk driver and tell them you want to go to Royal Palace Park, located at HW8J+4V9, Samdach Sothearos Blvd. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a price before starting your journey.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Phnom Penh. Head towards Riverside along Sisowath Quay, enjoying the scenic views of the Tonle Sap River. Continue on Riverside until you reach the intersection with Samdach Sothearos Blvd. Turn right onto Samdach Sothearos Blvd and follow it for about 5 minutes. You will see Royal Palace Park on your right. This route is flat and suitable for cyclists.

• Motodop

  For a quick and affordable ride, you can use a motodop (motorbike taxi). You can find one easily by looking out for drivers near busy streets or you can use a ride-hailing app. Inform the driver that you want to go to Royal Palace Park, located at HW8J+4V9, Samdach Sothearos Blvd. The journey should take around 10 minutes, and make sure to negotiate or confirm the fare before the ride.
