Public Transport
From Stung Treng, take a local bus or shared taxi towards Ban Sua Mi. Buses typically depart from the central bus station, with fares around $2-3. Inform the driver you wish to go to Preah Nimit Waterfall. From the drop-off point near the junction, hire a moto-taxi for approximately $5, or walk about 3 kilometers to the waterfall. Be prepared for a rugged path.
Car
From Stung Treng town, drive north on National Road 7 (NR7) for about 15 kilometers. Turn left at the junction towards Preah Nimit Waterfall. The waterfall is about 5 kilometers from the turnoff. Note that sections of the road may be unpaved. Parking is available at the waterfall entrance, with a potential small fee of around $1.
Motorbike Rental
Rent a motorbike in Stung Treng for $5-10 per day. Follow the same directions as driving a car: head north on NR7 for 15 kilometers and turn left towards the waterfall. Enjoy the scenic ride.
Walking
If you are in Ban Sua Mi, a scenic hike to Preah Nimit Waterfall is possible. Follow the dirt paths leading from the village towards the waterfall area. The hike takes approximately 1-2 hours, so wear sturdy shoes and bring water.
