Tuk-tuk
From Siem Reap, the most common way to reach Pre Rup is by tuk-tuk. Negotiate a round-trip fare, which typically costs between $15 and $25. The journey takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Ensure the driver knows you want to visit Pre Rup temple specifically. This price does not include the Angkor Pass, which is required to enter the archaeological park.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Siem Reap and offer a comfortable ride to Pre Rup. Expect to pay around $25-$35 for a round trip. Agree on the price beforehand. From the city center, head south on National Road 6 towards Angkor Archaeological Park, then follow the signs to Pre Rup. Remember that the Angkor Pass is required and must be purchased separately.
Bicycle
For a more adventurous and budget-friendly option, rent a bicycle in Siem Reap for around $1-$3 per day. The ride to Pre Rup is approximately 13 kilometers and takes about 45-60 minutes. Follow the road to Angkor Archaeological Park and then the signs to Pre Rup. Be prepared for a hot and dusty ride, especially during midday. The Angkor Pass is still required.
