If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Siem Reap. Start from the Old Market, head northwest on Street 26 until you reach the Angkor Ticket Center. Purchase your Angkor pass here (costs about $37 for one day). After getting your pass, continue on the main road (Sangkum Thmei Street) towards Angkor Archaeological Park. Follow the signs leading to Phimeanakas Temple, which is located within the park. The total cycling distance is approximately 7 kilometers, and it should take about 30-45 minutes.

Walking to Phimeanakas Temple from the center of Siem Reap is not practical due to the distance, but if you're interested in a long trek, you can walk to the Angkor Ticket Center first, which is about 6 kilometers away. From the Old Market, head northwest along Street 26 until you reach the ticket center. After buying your pass, you can walk through the park towards Phimeanakas Temple, which is a few kilometers inside the park. Be prepared for a long walk, totaling around 10 kilometers from the Old Market to the temple.
