Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the city center of Siem Reap, head towards the intersection of Sivatha Road and National Road 6. From here, you can take either a tuk-tuk or walk. If walking, proceed down Sivatha Road until you reach the Old Market area. Continue straight until you reach the riverbank, then follow the river to the east. Look for the signs pointing towards Angkor Thom and Bayon Temple. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at the entrance to Angkor Thom. Enter the gate and follow the path until you reach the Terrace of the Elephants.

Tuk-tuk
From any hotel or location in Siem Reap, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you directly to the Terrace of the Elephants. Provide the driver with the address 'CVW5+9G3, Krong Siem Reap' or simply say 'Terrace of the Elephants' and confirm that they understand. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the site.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in Siem Reap. Start from the city center and follow the same route as the walking directions. It is a pleasant ride along the river and through the countryside. After about 30-40 minutes of cycling, you will reach the entrance to Angkor Thom. Park your bicycle and walk to the Terrace of the Elephants, which is a short distance away.
