Getting There

• Tuk-tuk

  From the center of Siem Reap, head to the main road (Sivatha Boulevard). Look for a tuk-tuk driver, which are easily found near Pub Street or the Old Market area. Negotiate a fare to Wat Po Banteaychey. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the driver knows the location by mentioning 'Wat Po Banteaychey' and show them the address '8V82+JFV, Krong Siem Reap'.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Siem Reap. Start by heading east on Sivatha Boulevard until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight onto National Road 6. After about 3 kilometers, turn right onto Road 66. Follow this road for another 2 kilometers, then turn left onto a smaller road leading to Wat Po Banteaychey. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Be cautious of traffic and stay hydrated.

• Walking

  Walking to Wat Po Banteaychey is not the most common option due to the distance, but if you're up for it, you can start from the center of Siem Reap. Take Sivatha Boulevard eastward until you reach the roundabout; then continue on National Road 6. After approximately 5 kilometers, you’ll need to turn right onto Road 66. Walk for another 2 kilometers, then take a left on the road leading to Wat Po Banteaychey. This walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
