It’s not just a food tour, it’s a mini city tour. Eating at the right place(s) is key to enjoying any foreign place, and my guide, whose name I can’t even try to spell, was fantastic! I ate, I laughed, I wished I had gone on the tour BEFORE my daughter ate something bad and was confined to the hotel room for the whole day/night. The selection of traditional Cambodian (Khmer) food was excellent and different from the choices in Phnom Penh. We stopped at the very(!!) clean and amazing Made in Cambodia market for some unexpected and welcome shopping of locally handmade goods mostly from recycled materials. I didn’t make it to the bar part of the tour, but when I come back, I will. Not sure if I’ll ever be able to try eating insects, though. :) Tourism in Cambodia hasn’t come back to pre-Covid levels yet, so now is the time to go if you want inexpensive and uncrowded sites and restaurants.

Solo traveller review Travelling on your own is great as you aren't at the behest if others so a bike tour was planned. SENG was my guide, he met me at my hotel and off we went in a tuk tuk to watch sunrise. Then walked around Angkor wat temple. The man is a fountain of knowledge! Bikes were picked up and off we went. We visited five temples, stopped for coconut water, breakfast and lunch. Really worth the money!

My boyfriend and I went on a sunrisetour with Chhay & it was stunning! The temples we visited were beautiful and the history behind them is very interesting. Chhay was very polite and has a huge knowledge about the temples and the sourrounding. Thanks! Btw my fav temple was bayon!
