From Takeo, start by heading northwest on National Road 2 (NH2) towards Phnom Penh. Continue on NH2 for about 70 km until you reach the junction with National Road 1 (NH1). Take a left onto NH1 and drive for approximately 15 km until you reach the town of Tịnh Biên. Follow the signs to Tra Su Cajuput Forest, which is located about 10 km from Tịnh Biên. The forest entrance will be on your left. There is a parking area available, and you may need to pay a small parking fee.

From Takeo, take a bus or minivan to Tịnh Biên. Buses typically leave from the central bus station in Takeo, and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Tịnh Biên, you can hire a motorbike taxi or tuk-tuk to take you the remaining 10 km to Tra Su Cajuput Forest. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around 15,000 to 20,000 KHR (approximately $3-5).

If you prefer to explore on your own, consider renting a motorbike in Takeo. After renting, head northwest on National Road 2 (NH2) for about 70 km, then switch to National Road 1 (NH1) towards Tịnh Biên. After about 15 km, follow the signs to Tra Su Cajuput Forest, which is about 10 km from Tịnh Biên. Be cautious while riding and watch out for local traffic conditions. Rental costs may vary, but expect to pay around 10,000 KHR (approximately $2.50) per day.
