From Yaoundé, take a taxi towards Ngoumou. Inform the driver you are going to Parc de la Méfou and to drop you off at Metet, the closest area to the park. The taxi ride takes approximately 40 minutes and costs around $22-$28 (13,000-16,500 CFA). From Metet, it is approximately 2 kilometers to Parc de la Méfou. You can take a moto-taxi for around 1,000-2,000 CFA.

Public Transport
From Yaoundé, take a shared minibus (taxi-brousse) to Ngoumou. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around 1,500 CFA francs. Once in Ngoumou, hire a motorcycle taxi (benskine) to Metet for approximately 1,000 CFA francs. Confirm with the driver to take you to Parc de la Méfou.

If you are in Metet, you can walk to Parc de la Méfou. From the center of Metet, follow the signs to the wildlife refuge. The distance is approximately 2 kilometers and takes about 25-30 minutes. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
