Getting There

    From Waza National Park, start by heading south towards the main road (Route Nationale 1). Continue on Route Nationale 1 for approximately 40 km until you reach the town of Mokolo. Once in Mokolo, follow the signs towards Grand barrage de Mokolo. The barrage is located about 5 km west of the town center. You may need to ask locals for specific directions as the signs can be minimal.

    From Waza National Park, take a shared taxi (known locally as 'taxi brousse') to Mokolo. Shared taxis can be found at designated taxi stands within the park's area. The ride will take around 1 hour and cost approximately 1,000 CFA francs.
