If you're traveling by car from the central area of Cape Breton Highlands National Park, head southeast on the Cabot Trail (NS-30) towards Baddeck. After approximately 30 minutes, turn left onto the Trans-Canada Highway (NS-105) and continue for about 10 km. Take exit 9 towards Baddeck. Merge onto NS-205 and continue for about 5 km until you reach Oregon Rd. Turn left onto Oregon Rd, and after a short drive, you'll find North River Provincial Park on your right. There is no admission fee to enter the park.

To reach North River Provincial Park using public transportation, you first need to take a bus from your location within Cape Breton Highlands National Park to Baddeck.
