If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Sydney, a common entry point for tourists. Take the NS-125 S for approximately 21 km, then merge onto NS-105 N towards Baddeck. Continue on NS-105 N for about 70 km. When you reach Baddeck, take exit 8 towards Baddeck and follow the signs for the North River Wilderness Area. The area is located about 10 km from Baddeck. Look out for the signage directing you to the wilderness area as you approach the parking lot.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Sydney to Baddeck. Maritime Bus offers services between these locations. Check their schedule in advance for departure times and book your ticket. Once you arrive in Baddeck, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining 10 km to North River Wilderness Area. The taxi ride may cost around $20 - $30 CAD, depending on the service provider.
