Getting There

  If you are in Cariboo, you'll first need to get on Highway 97. Drive southbound towards Quesnel for about 50 kilometers. From Cache Creek, take Highway 1 East towards Kamloops. Continue on this road for about 80 kilometers until you reach Kamloops. In Kamloops, take the exit for Highway 5 North towards Prince George. Drive this highway for around 140 kilometers, and then take the exit for Highway 16 West towards Burns Lake. Continue on Highway 16 until you reach the turn-off for Fossil Creek Park. Follow the signs for the park until you arrive.

  To reach Fossil Creek Park via public transport, start by taking a bus from your location in Cariboo to Quesnel. Once in Quesnel, transfer to a bus heading to Cache Creek. From Cache Creek, you'll need to change buses again to get a ride towards Kamloops. The final leg of your journey will require catching a bus from Kamloops to Prince George, which will take you closer to the area of Fossil Creek Park.
