Bus
From downtown Charlottetown, head to the bus station located at 123 Grafton Street. Look for the bus line that heads towards the north shore of Prince Edward Island. Board the bus that is marked for 'Brackley Beach' or 'Dalvay' (check the schedule for the most current routes). The bus ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Dalvay by the Sea, and walk towards the entrance of the property.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Charlottetown. Head out of downtown by following the bike lanes along Grafton Street. Continue onto the Confederation Trail, which will take you in the direction of Dalvay by the Sea. The ride is roughly 10 kilometers and should take around 40-50 minutes. Follow the signs for Dalvay Beach when you get close, and you will spot Dalvay by the Sea.
Walking
If you enjoy walking, you can start from downtown Charlottetown and walk towards Dalvay by the Sea. Begin on Queen Street heading north. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Grafton Street, then take a left. Follow Grafton Street until you reach the end, where you will connect with the Confederation Trail. It’s about a 1.5-hour walk (approximately 5 km). Follow the trail signs for Dalvay Beach, and it will lead you directly to Dalvay by the Sea.
