Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, navigate to Halifax, Nova Scotia. From downtown Halifax, head towards the waterfront area. You can park at designated parking lots near the waterfront. From the parking area, walk to the ferry terminal located at the foot of George Street. The terminal is well-signposted, and the address is Georges Island Rd, Halifax, NS B3K 5M7. Be sure to check the ferry schedule ahead of time, as service to Georges Island is limited. The ferry ride takes approximately 15 minutes.

  If you are using public transportation, take a bus to downtown Halifax. The Metro Transit system operates multiple routes that can bring you to the Halifax Bus Terminal. From the bus terminal, you can walk to the waterfront area. Follow the signs to the ferry terminal at the foot of George Street. Again, ensure to check the ferry schedule, and be prepared to purchase ferry tickets, which usually cost around $10 per person round trip.
