Bus
To reach Green Gables Heritage Place from downtown Charlottetown, you can take the bus. Start at the Charlottetown Transit Terminal on Kent Street. Board the Route 1 bus towards Cavendish. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the Cavendish stop which is closest to Green Gables Heritage Place. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes along Cavendish Road heading west, and you will see the entrance to Green Gables Heritage Place on your right.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Charlottetown. Head out of the city center along the Confederation Trail, which is a scenic route. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Cavendish Road. Turn left onto Cavendish Road and continue biking for about 10 kilometers. Green Gables Heritage Place will be on your left after you pass through the Cavendish area.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can take a long stroll to Green Gables Heritage Place. Start from the downtown area and head northwest on Great George Street until you reach the intersection with University Avenue. Turn left onto University Avenue and continue until you reach the end of the street. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Trans-Canada Highway (Route 1). After about 5 kilometers, turn right onto Cavendish Road. Walk along Cavendish Road for another 2 kilometers, and you will find Green Gables Heritage Place on your right. This walk will take you approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
