Getting There

• Public Transit

  From downtown Charlottetown, walk to the nearest bus stop on Queen Street. Take the bus number 1 or 2 heading towards North River. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop for Route 9 (West River Road). After exiting the bus, walk approximately 10 minutes northwest on Route 9. You will see the sign for Matos Winery & Distillery on your left at 3156 West River Road.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in downtown Charlottetown. Head east on University Avenue, then take a left onto Euston Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 9 (West River Road). Turn right onto Route 9 and continue cycling for about 6 km. Matos Winery & Distillery will be on your left at 3156 West River Road.

• Walking

  For those who enjoy a long walk, start from downtown Charlottetown and head east on Queen Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with University Avenue. Turn right onto University Avenue and walk until you reach the Route 9 (West River Road) intersection. Turn left onto Route 9 and walk for approximately 6 km. Matos Winery & Distillery will be on your left at 3156 West River Road.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can easily get a taxi or use a rideshare app from anywhere in Charlottetown. Simply enter the address 3156 West River Road, Saint Catherines, PE C0A 1H1, as your destination. The driver will take you directly to Matos Winery & Distillery. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
