Car
If you're driving to the Toronto Zoo, start by entering the highway that is closest to you. If you're coming from downtown Toronto, take the Gardiner Expressway East. Merge onto the Don Valley Parkway (DVP) North, and follow the signs for Highway 401 East. Take exit 377 for Meadowvale Road. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Meadowvale Road. Follow Meadowvale Road for about 2 kilometers, and the Toronto Zoo will be on your left at 2000 Meadowvale Rd. There is ample parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach the Toronto Zoo using public transit, start by locating the nearest subway station. Take the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subway Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth Line) and ride to the Kennedy Station. At Kennedy Station, transfer to the 86 Scarbrough route bus, which will take you directly to the zoo. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for the Toronto Zoo, which is well-marked. The zoo entrance is a short walk from the bus stop.
